Have you ever lost a loved one? How did you handle it?

Great Reunion is a song I posted in conjunction with today’s chapter about how I ended up dealing with the loss of one of my best friends. I hope you find some encouragement in it. :)

Another chapter is posted. This one focuses on one of the major tragedies in my life: the death of our good friend Clay. Hero, again, is the song I chose to go along with it.

Back when we began the Kickstarter in April of 2011, I said that I wanted this project to be a team effort — and the more who joined the cause, the better. In the end, over 60 people backed the project financially, and a team of just over twenty folks worked creatively (often for much less in pay than they deserved) to make the project come together. I couldn’t be prouder of this project because of just that — that there were so many of you who were a part of it. Job well done, team!

Just posted Chapter 6 in Little Mountain — a story about baseball and a brotherhood on the brink of falling apart. The song “Hero” comes from the same story as this chapter, and will be the song of the week, as Chapter 7 on Friday will go along with it as well.

Chapter 5 contrasts one of the darkest moments of my life with one of my brightest memories. The song “Abide With Me” — where I get the name of the album Eventide — came to my mind immediately because of its lyrics: “Through cloud and sunshine, abide with me.”
